Mid August

Was out of town on vacation last week but after all the rain had passed the fishing is still good.  Took a trip the day I got home and had a good day catching a some nice spanish mackerel and bluefish.  Talking to other guides it sounds like the inshore flounder and drum bite is still good and the bottom fishing is still great.  Along with that the old drum on the neuse river are starting to show up and they will be around through September.  If you are looking for a trip its not to late.  The fishing is still going to be great the next couple months.
